17/01/2018 · Revised Answer (April 2018) Chrome ended support for Vista in April 2016 (see Google Chrome Blog: Updates to Chrome platform support), meaning that no version more recent than Chrome 49 could be used on Vista.(At the time of revision, the current version is Chrome 66 and rising.) It would be irresponsible of me not to point out that nobody recommends using an outdated browser.
